Great Product from a Great Company
This purchase was an upgrade of my 30 gig Zune I had purchased last year. They are significantly better now with a smaller size as well as adding the new touch pad. I also love the Zune software on the computer comapared to a very complicated iTunes setup. The Zune also functions well with my computer and my Xbox 360. A recommended buy for any music fan!

Zune vs ipod Classic
So my 30gb ipod classic was full and I was searching for a new mp3 player. I loved my classic and was considering purchasing one of the new 120gb Classics or whatever the most recent, high storage capacity ipod there was. However, I play my Xbox 360 religiously and have never enjoyed the sync it has with the ipod and the zune was supposedly much more compatible as it was made by microsoft. My only other gripe with my classic was the click wheel not always responding, like say through gloves, mittens, my pants, etc. and some problems with the itunes interface taking too long to read songs or any other number of problems.
Three of my co-workers switched from ipod to zune and all of them enjoyed the zune much more, so being a GOW fan and seeking better syncing with my 360, I bought the Zune. First off, I love the Zune Marketplace, it looks nicer, it feels a bit more smooth, and has some customization options. It also found more album art and song info than my itunes. The only thing that caused frustration was converting all my music to be compatible with my Zune as not all of my music was on my laptop (much of it was lost when my brother's pc crashed and I had misplaced many of my cd's one of the many times I cleaned my house). However, after I got all of the grunt work out of the way, my Zune experience has been excellent. I prefer the D-pad to the click wheel as it is able to be read through various of my articles of clothing. the ability to customize backgrounds is sweet, and the audio quality is on par if not better than my old ipod. Also, with my ipod I had to constantly switch the Equalizer depending on which type of music I was listening to, while the Zune seems to optimize almost all of them (not all the time, but some of the time is better than never).
I'm very happy with my Zune, the added Gears content is pretty cool and my experience with it has been nothing short of awesome.

Better than an iPod
I first got a Zune 2 years ago for xmas. My hubby and I loved it so much we'd fight over which one of us got to use it. This year, I bought the special edition Gears of War edition for my hubby since he loves that game.

The best part of Zune is the firmware updates. His zune came with the latest updates that included games. When I plugged mine "old" zune in, I got the update and recieved the games also. So no matter what, your zune can only get better!

I have friends that have iPods and they always drool over my Zune. The songs are cheaper also overall. And since it's Micrsoft, if you have any Microsoft, Xbox, or Zune points, they all work the same so you can use them to buy songs if you want. All it takes is a Windows Live ID. WE LOVE OUR ZUNES!

Gears of War Zune
The Gears of War Edition of the Microsoft Zune is a great buy. If your not really into the whole Gear of War the then I would of course say to say the few extra bucks and just get the regular edition 120GB Zune. I would say my two only complaints about this product would be:
1. It does not come with the premium headphones like the 80Gb one did.
2. It did not come with the 1st GOW commmercial or the song Mad world on the unit.

Those two things asside and I love my GOW Zune.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!
This is an AMAZING Zune. It's got Gears of War 2 soundtracks, pictures, videos and more. The new Zune firmware contains games as well as wireless syncing. 120 GB of memory. That's ALOT of music and movies.

I am really glad I bought this, and I don't regret it at all!! I recommend getting one. You won't be sorry.

Enjoy
