Not Very Robust
This product would be fine if one played it at low volume all the time without moving the unit.
I used this in a work environment that had a some ambient noise which required higher volume and I moved the unit around a lot. The dock often failed to charge the ipod and even seemed to drain it. The sound quality deteriorated over time. Distortion is much higher after about 6 months use. There is an intermittent hissing noise that affects the speakers. All in all I am disappointed.

Compact and charges
This has worked just as expected. The sound is ok to play while my wife sews and it charges the iPod when it is plugged in. Don't expect audio like a Bose but it amplifies enough for our home. It plays forever on batteries too but will not charge the iPod unless the AC power cord is plugged in. Good price for a decent product. Amazon's service was great.

Pretty disappointed...
I was looking for a decent, cheap set of speakers to listen to my iPod Touch at work. After seeing the stellar reviews here, I thought this was a "can't-miss."

Well, it may have to do with the low volume levels at which I use the speakers, or with the iPod Touch itself (which I hear does not have great sound), but I get significant bass distortion with these, to the point where some songs become unlistenable. I've tried adjusting the iPod's Equalizer with some improvement, but the distortion is still pronounced. Again, I'm not saying it's necessarily the fault of the speakers per se, but my listening experience has not been what I anticipated when I purchased these speakers.

Great speakers for the price
I got these speakers for single room usage. I couldn't be happier with the sound (both treble and base), the volume levels and lack of buzz when the speakers are on but not playing. It has done well with classical, pop, techno and spoken voice (books on tape). The batteries seem to last quite a while and AC power is also great to have. These were exactly what I hoped for and more. After a month of use I have yet to find a negative.

Great portable speakers!
After shopping around on Amazon and comparing products, I finally decided on the Cyber Acoustics Speaker for iPod. The prior reviews were most helpful. I like how it packs up nicely in the travel bag, although you cannot fit the A/C adapter in there (I've tried and made a couple of holes instead). The level and richness of sound this little unit makes is phenomenal. I was skeptical when I made the purchase, but I am quite satisfied now.The only downside I have experienced so far is when it's plugged in and not playing music. If you are sensitive of ear, you may hear a slight 'hum' coming from the speakers. I have yet to put batteries in and see if it has the same result. Other than that, it is a great buy and fits even the largest of iPods.
